Coach Juan is a graduate of the Seals competitive soccer program. As one of the key players on Coach Blago's 99B team, Juan had some memorable moments including a highlight reel bicycle kick goal followed by a controversial red card in a State Cup Quarter Final match.  Juan was the MVP of the Balboa HS varsity team and led the team to a SF Championship game his senior year, but his real sporting ability may lie in bowling - he once rolled a 268.

Juan is a Real Madrid supporter and has been a Seals coach for several years. He was the assistant coach of the 2005G travel team that won NorCal Gold division in which his younger sister was a major part of this feat. Juan also assisted with Urban HS JV boys team.  

Outside of Seals, Juan plays on a mens team called Indy AFC that competes in the SFSFL. Juan holds a Bachelors Degree in Computer Science from the University of San Francisco. When not playing soccer, Juan likes to spend time with his 2 dogs, a chihuahua and a Lab/Pitbull mix.
