Welcome to San Francisco Seals Scholarship Application. We realize that club soccer is very expensive to many families. SF Seals always strives to provide the highest value for the fees that we charge for our program. At the same time, our goal is to support as many families as possible with financial assistance so that every youth soccer player who wishes to play with SF Seals can do so regardless of their financial background. We are proud of the fact that close to 20% of our annual operating budget goes to provide scholarships to players who demonstrated the greatest need. However, keep in mind that we have a limited scholarship budget and the families with the highest need will receive scholarships. SF Seals can provide payment plans to those families who do not qualify for our scholarships, if necessary.

Scholarship Application Agreement

SF Seals are prepared to provide financial assistance to certain players who qualify for assistance. However, given the potential impact of scholarships on team dynamics, SF Seals has expectations of scholarship recipients and families of those recipients. If a scholarship is awarded, the player and the families of the player acknowledge and commit to the following conditions:

Player will make best effort to attend all practices and games
Player and player's parents will make best effort to maintain a positive attitude and represent the player's team and SF Seals with high level of sportsmanship and integrity
Player's parents must pay the Program Deposit (at the % scholarship level) to confirm acceptance of scholarship awarded
Player's parents will make best effort to pay balance of Program Fee on time according to the payment schedule
Player and parents will make best effort to participate in SF Seals fundraising activities or projects

If the player & parents do not uphold the expectations set above, SF Seals may withdraw the scholarship offer and suspend or expel the player from SF Seals.
